2. Year of DevOps Foundation


Last year, it was an incredible time to adopt DevOps on a large scale D.J. Humphries Hat , as the adoption of DevOps principles reached a


critical mass in the hearts and minds of many in IT.


According to a survey conducted by the cloud management provider RightScale, the share of companies that accepted some


aspects of the DevOps principles was 84 percent in 2017. However, there is a difference between adoption and application of


the principles. The same study showed that only 30% of companies were able to implement DevOps throughout the company.
