Minnesota Wild forward Matt Cooke is having an in-person hearing in New York for kneeing Colorado Avalanche defenceman Tyson Barrie. The incident occurred in the second period of the Wilds 1-0 Game 3 victory over the Avalanche. Cooke was assessed a two-minute minor for kneeing on the play. Coach Patrick Roy said after the Wilds 1-0 overtime win on Monday that Barrie has a medial collateral ligament injury in his left knee and will need four to six weeks to recover.
